Sakuranbo Yama Cherry Mountain Orchard

Went to pick cherries and strawberries! Eat as much as you like for a little under 1000 yen. If I remember correctly.

We couldn’t bring out the strawberries to pay for them. We can only eat them inside the fields. Why? Because that place is actually for cherries. So you can only bring the cherries out and pay for them.

these strawberries are really sweet! Not like the ones I am used to when bought in Singapore. The ones I ate in Singapore are usually sour!!

Nikka Whisky Factory

We went to the Nikka Whisky Factory.

For a person who does not drink, this place is very interesting for me because I see the big “billboard” in susukino for this Nikka Whisky as shown in this photo below.

Cape Kamui

After Cape Shakotan, we went to Cape Kamui.

Ainu Museum in Shiraoi Hokkaido

Went to Shiraoi to visit the Ainu Museum.

The Ainus are Hokkaido’s aborigines. Their language is dying. They do not have any written language. Only spoken.

They have suffered quite a bit under the Japanese rule.

Warung Jawa new location in Sapporo

Warung Jawa has moved to a new location. It is now just around the corner at the street where Sapporo Masjid is.

Very nice Halal Indonesian food served in this restaurant.

You  can also walk in and browse and buy halal foodstuff like meat there.

Recommended for any Muslims coming to Sapporo.

We joined in the dance together with the “Pros” after their formal performance, even though we didn’t know the steps! ha ha ha
